"Hands-On"
Programming for the SLC500™ Programmable Controller Using RSLogix500™ Software
Comprehensive 5-Day PLC
Training Seminar in a Combination "Hands-ON" and Classroom Session
NOTE:
While Allen-Bradley PLCs are used, course content will
apply to users of all PLCs.
Length:
5 Days (Classes start at 8:00 a.m. and finish
at 4:00 p.m.)
Seminar Purpose:
The purpose of this seminar is to provide you
with the skills needed to organize, plan, write, enter, test, and document
SLC500™ programs using
the basic programming instructions and RSLogix500™ software. You will learn to
use specific advanced instructions. You will learn to edit, upload, download,
save, and restore as well as program specific ladder logic instructions. The
instructor will demonstrate the use of bit-level, timer, counter, conversion,
math, comparison, data manipulation, program control, and diagnostic
instructions in detail, then provide realistic situations that allow you to
practice using these instructions.
Frequent hands-on practice is
provided using an actual SLC500™ system workstation.
Seminar Objectives:
Upon completion of this seminar, you will be able to
produce SLC500™ programs using RSLogix500™ software by performing these
actions:
- Write and edit programs
- Enter and test programs
- Document and
maintain programs
Hands-On Training:
These Seminars offer real Hands-On Training, not just a
demonstration. You will spend approximately 50% of your time actually working
with Programmable Controllers, either individually or with a partner. Your team
size will never exceed two Participants. Each team will be assigned a Training
Center, consisting of a Personal Computer with RSLogix500™ Programming Software
and an Allen-Bradley SLC500™ Programmable Logic Controller for their exclusive
use.
Who Should Attend:
Individuals who need to be able to write
ladder logic programs for a SLC500™ processor using RSLogix500™ software should
attend this seminar.
